This instant download primitive pattern is designed after some Primitive Early Church Dolls that I saw in Pine Mountain, Ga that were handmade in the mid 1800's.  This one is special...   these dolls were made by mothers for their children to occupy their time on Sunday mornings during Church.  Church was a huge social event  in the South.  Church with Singings, Baptisms, Dinners on the ground and just socializing was usually an all day event.  

This primitive instant download pattern is very easy to make up and the finished dolls will be extreme Prim and will measure about 5 inches tall x 3 & 1/2 inches across.  Included are my step by step instructions, a color photo to use as a guide, the staining recipe and 2 pattern pieces!
