Included in this recipe collection are two of my very favorite offerings to make! One is my Rustic Farmhouse Pie Candles... these are Pies made as in days of old with a fluted "hand did Pie Crust." The other is for Southern Ashcakes. These are tarts that are fashioned after the Ashcakes that we still make down here in the Heart of Dixie and have been for a long, long time.

In these recipes, I've provided my links for suppliers along with very detailed instructions for making the Pies and the Ashcakes along with color photos of each to use as a guide. Wax, scent and dye information along with a history of each offering is provided. Both of these recipes use alot of the same ingredients so I've combined them to save my buyers money! :-) I've even included a Recipe and how to make real Ashcakes!
